About Tali Rose

I am a Yoga Alliance-accredited yoga teacher and registered Dance Movement Psychotherapist (2009) with over a decade of experience supporting adults and children through yoga and therapeutic movement. I work in schools, adult education centres, and from my home studio, offering a compassionate and holistic approach to well-being.

My extensive training in movement includes studying Amerta Movement with Dr. Sandra Reeve through the Move into Life program and apprenticeship. I have also trained with Suprapto Suryadarmo, the founder of Amerta Movement, both in Java and the UK.

I am deeply passionate about the transformative power of movement and embodiment. I facilitate Movement Matters, an online and in person embodiment class, and weave my background in Steiner Waldorf education into my sessions, honouring the rhythms of nature and the seasons.

Rooted in the belief that the body is a powerful catalyst for transformation, I integrate nature, everyday movement, and personal expression into my work, creating a space where individuals can explore freedom, connection, and self-discovery through movement and dance.

TESTIMONIALS:

“Tali took us on a whole journey where we connected to every part of our body from head to toe! We explored the room at different levels and had our spirits raised up to a full on energised rave and then lowered back down to a peaceful place of contentment, all at a perfect pace. At no point did I feel exhausted, just connected to myself, the others and the fantastic soundtrack that helped to guide us on the journey. Loved it, I would highly recommend Tali’s workshop to anyone. “  Jemima

"Thank you thank you Tali! I wasn't sure what to expect but it surpassed all expectations, it was easy, challenging, beautiful, soft, and full of heart and connection. Medicine for us all!"  Kate

"Tali eases you gently into moving your body, she has a beautiful way about her that is reassuring and safe.  My self-consciousness slowly slipped away as I relaxed and fell into the rhythm of the music.   I felt a range of emotions as I moved through the class, invigorated, free and energised yet at the end I felt very grounded and like I’d had a pure and gentle meditative experience.  It’s quite difficult to explain if you’ve not done anything like it before, but I’d highly recommend you give it a go.  It’s like entering into a musical journey of the soul, whilst being held by a very safe hand."
